I come from a background in multimedia design and technology, but what actually keeps me in this field is simpler: I'm addicted to the puzzle. Product design is problem-solving with real constraints and real people on the other end of it, and I've never gotten tired of that.

My process starts away from the screen. I observe, I interview, I sketch on paper before anything touches Figma. I'd rather sit with a user's actual words and habits than assume I already know them; the small details people mention almost as an aside are usually where the real insight is.

Outside of work, it's mostly still about making things. Painting, drawing, photography, travel, music, whatever form it takes. I think that habit of paying close attention carries over directly into how I design.

I do my best work in teams built on mutual respect and genuinely shared purpose, ideally cross-cultural, ideally mission-driven. I've been lucky to work across teams spanning Singapore, New Zealand, Kenya, and the US, and that mix is part of what I look for, not just tolerate.
